I got this poster for the show, and people liked it. I made it with Canva, which I plan to use for my blogging. I’m honored that Ordervision put on a show for me. They definitely gave me the art back with their Monday night classes.

Below are photos from the show that Alex from ordervision took. There were other photos that I may organize and add to this later.

I had a lot of fun. I would say around 20 people came and went for the two hours. I’m honored that everyone was encouraging and liked my work. I realize I need to learn more about art. I fumbled a bit with questions about the meaning of my art and my process.

I was nervous at first. When I started my demonstration, my hand was shaking a little when I drew my sketch lines. Five others began painting, and I was able to give them pointers on mixing with primary colors. I enjoyed myself, but did my painting quickly, and talked to people. We decided on a selling price of $50 each. And some did sell. Each time a piece was sold, we celebrated.

On a projector, we showed this YouTube video I made of my work. The sound was off and we jammed to a two hour spotify playlist I made. I’ll link that at the bottom too.

And here is the spotify playlist!

After a tough few years, this experience has been really special. The show is up until later this week. I’m feeling blessed.

Lastly, this was posted on my website as a page, so it’ll appear as a tab on my homepage. Other tabs include the 2020 Sketches and Mallison Dreams. Check those out. It’s a good way to see how my art has evolved.
